New implementation - cannot see 'Sales' or 'Marketing' buttons

Hi - I just implemented CRM 3.0 on a Windows 2003 server and think I'm doing
something stupid or haven't configured something.  I've followed the
Microsoft Implementation Guide and done the reinstall a couple of times, but
still cannot see the 'Sales' or 'Marketing' buttons on the bottom left of
the screen.

I've done no customizations at all or added any users, just loaded
http://servername after the CRM install is complete and the server is
rebooted.

The other CRM machine we have here has the bottons for the users but I'm not
sure what configuration was done because I didn't implement it.

Anyone know the boneheaded thing I did wrong or am not noticing?

Thanks in advance.

When logged into CRM go to Settings | Business Unit Settings | Users and
pull up your user record.  Uncheck the 'Restricted Access Mode' check box at
the bottom of the screen, log out and log back in again.  You should now see
the areas that you are currently missing.
