Auto dialer

Can you please advise if we can auto dial from a contact? We are currently
using CRM 3.0 but still using ACT for "Auto Dial" function and it would be
nice if we can auto dial from CRM so we don't have to keep 2 different
systems.

Thanks,

Joyce

There is no built in auto dialer..you need to either write your own using
the SDK or buy one from a 3rd party developer

the options here depend on the technology you're using - there are several
telephone exchange systems (such as avaya, cisco, etc) who have integration
components for CRM so that you can click to dial and get in-bound screen
popping. In addition mscrm-addons has a tapi connector that provides the
same kind of functionality. Various people have also developed integration
with Skype for outbound calls as well I think
